8:20.3S 32:25.8W - East coast of Brazil and heading outh....... Finally ;)

After a week out of Fortaleza and we have found the southern running Brazilian current and sailing south… Finally… ;)  The conditions are almost perfect with easterly winds and a favourable current, so right now we are ‘reaching’ south at about 7 knots under full sail and not even thinking about a reef as yet.   It’s been a great 24 hours  with more wind to come.  This sort of sailing is what it’s all about, it’s what makes sense of why cruising is so addictive…. And the fact we are actually heading in the right direction for once does not hurt the situation either… ;)
