The weather has been appalling over the last week and we are only a week behind… lovely.  From Bangor we bashed into it and after making good 1 nm per hour over 20 hours we pulled into Carlingford Lough (border between North and South Ireland) and stayed a few days anchored waiting out the weather and doing some more ‘minor’ weather repairs…. The hits just keep on coming….

Once it all settled down weather wise, we sailed south to Dublin on the 1st December (one of the best days sailing yet as it was not gusting over 40kts and we reached all the way down the coast!!) and stayed overnight at Dun Laoghaire Marina in South Dublin.  The weather now looks very favorable for the Canaries, so the plan is to sail first thing tomorrow and if all goes well be in Las Palmas in 10-12 days…. Maybe.. ;).

We shall see…………..
