Next destination down the track. Only 18 miles from
Corme so not really an epic voyage, good fun though.
Arrived here at about 3 pm after a cracking
sail from Corme, where we left at about 11am. Good force 4-5 most of the
way picking up to a 6 just as we needed to harden up to get into the
harbour.This lead to a bit of excitement as we were shortening sail to come up
on to the wind, having had everything up for the proceeding three hours, bowling
along at 6 knots. Currently anchored off the town with a very stiff breeze
blowing down the anchorage, meaning that Mary is convinced that the anchor is
dragging.
Had the usual arrival beers, to celibrate a safe
delivery from the sea monsters, so as far as I am concerned the world is a
benign and graceful place. Looks like an interesting location so we will
wait here for Tom, who is flying over to La Coruna on Friday.
No fish caught in Spain so far, much too
Catholic is my bet.
