Anchored for the night in St Vaast on the East of the Cherbourg Peninsula. Hot and sunny all day with light southerly winds, had just about every sail on the boat up at one point or another. Eventually had to put engine on to make progress, cooked green chicken curry in a galley temperature of about 100F. Meltingly hot and maybe a sign of things to come?
 
Mary and Kate are thinking of setting up a laundry service to raise money for the trip. They were doing the washng by jumping up and down on it in a plastic bucket, the video of their bucket jumping will be available soon on the weblog,
