Underway at last

Okay chaps!! We are on our way at last, reeling in the rest of the fleet as we bowl along at 4 knots in about 12knots of wind, sailing with everything up. Feeling positive and relaxed as we leave Gran Canaria. Everything seems settled and weather forecast is good for the next few days. Nice to have a gentle day to get the crew into their stride.

Already fishing, using one of my rubber squid (no garlic sauce, so will not be sucking the juices off of it and squealing with delight), and hope to have a nice tuna on the table before long.

Ian on the helm, Molly fishing, Mary cooking and Kate devising the weeks entertainment programme in her role as ents officer. I am skiving at the chart table and pretending to know where we are!

Thanks for all your support and encouragement over the last week, it has been really helpful!

Paul.
