Coming back to the boat after months away is always connected with a lot of work.
The boat needs to be opened up, ventilated, mould cleaned away, loads of luggage unpacked and stowed away, systems started up and tested (always something with problems-this time the solenoid of forward toilet remaining open flooding the toilet),general cleaning, filling water and finding markets for food.
This normally takes 2-3 days and then starts the work with prepairing the boat for the coming adventures.
On this trip we had one whole bag only with spare parts since the Caribbean (and especially Dominican Republic)has proven almost impossible in terms of importing parts.
