Bermuda to Azores  – Day 6

Yesterday was a very pleasant day. We motor sailed for 5hrs and got the engine off well before lunch – a few hours ahead of the gribs. The breeze built during the day to 10-12k from the SSW giving us a nice fast beam reach in flattish and comfortable seas. Maintained an easy 8k under full main and slightly rolled genoa all night. Skys mostly cloudy just now but showing signs of clearing from the south. We are now heading ESE and will continue this course to around 35N to try and stay below the worst of the oncoming low. Expect to continue much like this for the next 24hrs, in a slightly building breeze. All very quiet on the AIS and the wildlife front with no visual sightings except for the weird animals described earlier.
