Had a great sail all day and night – very fast with between 15 and 35 knots of wind!  Wind dropped off at one point so motored for around 2 hours but then it came up with a vengeance and has been blowing hard ever since.  It has slowly clocked round from NW to W and now SW and forecast to go S later this afternoon.  Seas been a bit boisterous to say the least but boat has coped really well.  Been sailing for the last 12 hours with a reefed genoa only and still doing up to around 8 knots.  We are currently off the mainland coast heading towards Eden but may decide to continue up to Jervis bay (another 150 miles) as the forecast is for northerlies from tomorrow afternoon onwards.  Expecting to get adverse current up the coast which will bring our speed down!
