Well the seas didn’t get any less but once we changed course it did get more comfortable although a bit slower so after lunch we set a well reefed main and have been sailing on a 2 sail reach since then.  We still have to make this ‘entrance’ window and are having to adjust our speed accordingly.  We have further to go to this atoll but hope to make it by tomorrow morning - slack water is around 12 noon – being 5 hours after moon rise – and low water at 11.30am so that’s what we have to aim for!

Yesterday the wind was around 20 – 25 knots for most of the day – got up to 40 in one of the squalls last night – but back down to around 20 so far today.  Had a day of ginger nuts and flat coke yesterday but feeling much better today and managed to make porridge for breakfast and bake some bread.  Also had a shower which always helps!
