Day out in Fial!

We are now in Fial, and of coarse our 1st stop was Peters Bar, had a
really nice meal and evening.
Next day we had a Taxi tour around the island, we went to the volcano
crater, sampled local cheese and sherry and their bread, which was more
like Madeira cake.
At the end of the island is a light house which there is only tower left, as
the rest is covered with ash, past that is land that came out of the sea
when then the eruption happened, it is the youngest land in Europe, just
56 years old (when the earth Quake & Volcano happened)
The Taxi driver was very good at pointing out all the places of interest,
then he took us to the super market so we could store up the boat again.
So we had a good day out.
Hope all is well and hopefully the nice weather has arrived.
