Hi Everyone,
We have set sail again after an interesting & enjoyable time in Aitutaki,
the boats & the traditional dancing was a spectacular sight, we were so
lucky to have witnessed it, & we nearly went off to another island as it
was very difficult to get into, the Americans had blasted a whole in the
ring of the lagoon reef in the war so they could use it as a stop off, but
the pass has been unused and silted up+rocks so we touched a couple of
times going in & on the way out.
but we all said we were so glad we went there.
After the horrible journey to the island it made it worth while.
My computer is broken so have been without it for over a week and doesn’t
look as if it will work again, so now Stu has set his up so we can
send mail, fingers crossed it all works.
Hope Oscar ha d a good birthday, we went to a resturant which we new had
wifi so we could send him Happy Birthday, when we as if we could used the
internet they said the owner had gone to watch the show (Hola Hola girls)
they had put on for the ships and he had turned it off before he went
(didn’t tell us before we ordered) crafty!
Yesterday I saw 2 blue star fish, never knew there was such a thing, what
a beautiful sight it didn’t look real, I only looked from the boat as they
said there was sea snakes so I wouldn’t get in just put my head over to
look at the bottom, glad I did, I still can’t believe it they looked like
some one had put plastic ones down there on the sea bed.
Next stop is Nieu which should take about 5/6 days there is no wind so
could take longer.

Hope all Ok lots of love Margaret & Alan – Mum & Dad xxxxxx
