We are in Niue, very nice, not snorkeling as there are poisonous snakes in
the the water, so am not taking any chances as I hate them.
Hi Everyone,
We are in Niue now, after a wet & windy journey here, We were only staying
2days but the locals have invited us to a BBQ Friday and they are already
rounding up the pigs, so thought it would be nice to have a go.
We are on a bouy as it is too deep to anchor but it is very swelly so not
so good.
We can't leave anyway till the local women gives us back our washing,
kept my knickers back and did my own so I'm ok!!
We are still travelling with the 2 boats we meet in Galapagos so its nice
to have company, thet will leave us after Fiji as they are Australian,
so better start on look for some new ones!
We have hired a car for tomorrow to go around the Island as there are caves.
Off to Tonga next they say you have to give the Chief a present (a bottle )
& have to cover up all over,long skirts & long sleeves.
Let you know how we get on.
