and now we are half way, done 17,349 miles so far.
We have had some really rough weather at times, but have been able to see
some beautiful Islands, and some amazing
things, Galapagos - Iguanas as big as cats walking in the street, Sea Lions,
& Giant Tortoises.
Some wonderful Waterfalls in Marquesas, We dived for Pearls in the Tuamotus,
we took part in a celebration in Aitutaki
where the welcomed 7 Vaka boats that were rowing around the world, there we
encounters men dressed as lady's, it seems
there if you have a couple of boys and one is pretty and you want a girl you
just put a frock on it and bring it up as a girl, poor
things!
If you ever want a snorkelling holiday and you want a treat Bora Bora was
lovely, really enjoyed our stay there, Tonga & Fiji
also. the Fijians are so friendly, and the little islands they are very poor
but happy.
The funniest thing was being served by a lady? with a stubble & a hairy
chest, and there I was worried about not shaving
my legs Ha!Ha!
We had a lovely surprise when we got to Australia, Alan's family from Sydney
& Perth flew down to meet us, we had a lovely
few days with them, also went to the rainforest on the train, I got to
cuddle a Koala, Alan fed a Kangaroo & we snorkelled on
the the Great Barrier Reef, and now we are half way across the Indian Ocean
on our way to Coco's Keeling, just another 1,000
miles to do, and making our way to Cape Town (about 3,000 miles) so we can
come home for Christmas, & hopefully have a catch
up with you both.
