We have arrived in the Tuamotu islands, which are a group of underwater
volcano's, the middles are lagoons, the rims are coral sand with palm tree's on, there are huts on stilts, and oyster beds. They are quite large inside, like a large lake.
When we arrived a man came out to the boat and brought us 2 fresh
baguettes,(1.50 Polynesian Francs, about a 1euro) they were lovely as we
haven't had any bread for 3 days and last one that I made was a bit heavy.
Tomorrow he is coming again and bringing us some for breakfast and taking us to see the oysters farm (we have to pay him but not quite sure how much)
We have decided to have a BBQ, we haven't had one for so long as its always raining, so fingers crossed it's not like that here, the last one
we had was in San Blas (before Panama)
Bye for now Lots of Love Margaret & Alan - Mum & Dad xxxxxxxx
