Hi Everyone,
All the jobs are done for now, Hopefully!
We had a nice time in Coco's keeling, but very tiring as, the fuel had to be carried in the cans and go by dingy, it took 4 trips,
the dingy ride is an hour away, if it is not too choppy! then the shopping, they make you anchor in the far away Island, still it was nice
there, uninhabited, had a BBQ, Eco toilets and a 2 water butts, so we had 2 BBQ's which where nice, we used the Coconut husks
and palm leaves.
Had lovely snorkel, and they do say that, Rodrigues is better, so are
looking forward to that.
Yesterday the Customs caught 2 boats with illegal immigrants, took them away and today they have just blown the boats up, we can see
the smoke out at sea, they did put out over the radio to make sure we were
clear of the area.
Also yesterday a boat sunk, 30 miles away, one of the boats from the world
ARC Rally, ( rudder damage & water got in) so if you see
anything on the news over the next week you know its not us! Poor things
they have lost everything, they were boats near by so they went
and got as much of there stuff before it sank!
At the moment, it has bee a nice sunny day, and reasonable wind, so fingers crossed it lasts!
Bye for now lots of love Mum & Dad Margaret & Alan xxxxxxxxxxx
