Having a look around Ascension!

We managed to hire a car so we could look around the island, it is
so very hot, and every thing so far away, we didn't want to walk,
We went to the top of the green peak, fabulous views of the lava
flows and the many peaks of ash blow outs.
The island is a military base and a communication centre for the BBC
We can now understand why the licence is so High, there are hundreds
of towers & miles & miles of cable, domes & dishes.
We managed to find a club that was open (there are 2 other one closed)
to get some lunch, just about as the cook only comes for an hour.
Although it was an interesting Island, I wouldn't put it on my holiday list!
