Hi Everyone,
We arrived at 8.20am /Sat,24th March-Galapagos-Marqusesas in 21days
19hrs after doing 2,754.
There was no moon and lots of rain making it a long dark night, but the
sight at day break was worth the wait,
the island has high lush green hills and very beautiful as we anchored we
were treated to a lovely rainbow across the bay.
As it was Sat the locals had a craft market, good job we had no local money as it was all much too expensive, but all very nice so you wished
you could of brought some thing.
To day is G day! Yes once again we have to have the generator to bit,
serious stuff this time the Sump Gasket has gone
so its is been winched out.
I'm the tool handler & getter of stuff, Laura's got the French phrase book
and looking up useful phrases for us as she did French at school, Dad & I
can only do Merci & Auvoir.
We can hear lots of chickens & cockerels so think we will be Ok for eggs.
Hope all Ok with you all, lots of love Margaret & Alan - Mum & Dad xx
