Hi Everyone,
We have had a lovely time on this island, (apart from the flies!this is the only place where we have encountered them)we saw large tortoises walking along the nature paths we were on, some as old as 150yrs, iguanas fighting on the beach as big as cats, if you get close to them they spit salt water at you. and lots of nice birds and flamingos, pink with black wings.
A baby Sea Lion thought that our dingy made a nice cozy bed for the night, the only problem was she didn't get out to poo, we had penguins as our breakfast entertainment swimming round and around the dingy, we think they wanted to get in with the sea lion, the Penguins where so cute you just wanted to scoop them up and cuddle them.
We are at 00.51S-90.32WWe are off to island Santa Cruz now to get shopping
before we head off the Marquesas which is a 3 week trip.
Hope all is well, love to all, Margaret & Alan - Mum & Dad xx
