Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well, sorry not to update the Diary, but we had a long
gruelling trip back to Gibraltar-Roquetas with head winds
all the way.
Because of strong head winds, we could not get to Gibraltar or along
the coast, some times we pointed to Casablanca and some times
Lisbon, tacking back & forth trying to get to Gibraltar.

We finally got to Tarifa and waited for the tide, went through the Straits of Gibraltar, a welcome sight, it was a relief to get there, Had a good shower a nice meal out! a sleep and set off again as the wind was going to be stronger, we had head winds all the way, for the 130 mile journey to Roquetas, we did 28 tacks and did 171 miles it usually takes us about 23 hour and it took 44 hours, we got a good
soaking as well, good job it was warm, as we past the Sierra Nevada
Mountains there was still snow on the in July, so it must be cold up
there.
To be continued.................
