All set to set off Tomorrow Sat 26th July, the weather is looking favourable wind wise for the whole trip, with rain Tuesday ish (by Tue with no shower on board a soaking might be what we need).

Leaving Conwy about 1000 to catch the tide to Holyhead, then wait probably in the yacht club for the next tide to take us round South Stack and off into the Irish sea. Not sure what Mark has planned but there is an Irish weather buoy called M5 just on the entrance to the Irish sea, which we could use as a turning point to head onto the Fastnet Rock.

Now this will be my second trip to the Fastnet Rock, and I'm still not sure what all the fuss is about. Whey they worry so much down south in racing to it and back. We will keep an eye on the barometer and if it starts to fall rapidly we will head for Kinsale, as we like it there.

Hollyhead to M5 120Miles
M5 to Fastnet Rock 110Miles
Fastnet Rock to Entrance to Milford Haven 166Miles

If we can maintain and average of 5 knots it should take us 3 days 8 hours.
