What a change today has been, this morning i came on shift to an overcast sky, and Richard gleefully handing the watch over to me just as a rain cloud deposited a light drizzle onto the boat. So i hid in the dog house until it passed. Then i was just as gleefully when i handed the watch over to Frans as a rally big downpour headed for the boat, the boat did need a wash.

The rain disappeared as the sun took control of the day and we had blue skies and a warm sun by 1000, the only thing we were missing was some wind. So the sails just flapped and boat sat motionless in the sea.

The only thing was to go for a swim, well after we had talked nicely to the very large tanker that was about to run us down, and asked them to move over a little, which they were very kind and did, passing about 600m away.

So into the water we went, well all but Richard, but Alison had warned us that he is a skimpy speedo man, so perhaps it was for the best.

Well that one one way to have today’s shower, no sooner had we got out after our swim and dried off, and changed. A pod of dolphins came passed the boat, so back into the water Alison and Frans went, to go swimming with the dolphins, but the dolphins weren’t interested, so they just swam passed.
