Just a pic of the boat sat on her mooring in the Harbour.

We arrived with a few repairs that needed attention, one was to un jam the main. Richard i think was fearing the worst, and that we would end up having to cut out the main, i was more optimistic, perhaps just for Richards sake.

We had to wait for the wind to die down, which happened overnight on the friday, and saturday morning it was still, breakfast at 0730, and up the mast.

I sort of had a plan, squirt fairy liquid onto the sail in the mast to give it some lubrication, and with the aid of a wooden spatula from the galley, we were able to slowly unwind the sail.

Well we managed to wake up all the boats around us, with my calls of UP, STOP, etc. but we did provide some good entertainment.

The boom vang still remains faulty, we are not sure what is wrong but i want Richard to talk to the manufactures, before he tinkers with it, it is under 600psi, so if he tinkers with it I'm expecting the thing to fly off the boat, and worry the local authorities, as they might think we are invading as the vang flys ashore like a missile.
