Going south I think
With no early sail changes needed in the light winds of the morning, we were given a lie in, which was much needed after the 3 parties we went to last night, first Happy Hour, then a walk to meet up with Richard and Allison and their parents for dinner, it’s best that i navigate, we went to exactly where we were shown on the map, not that that was where they were, but we made it to the Happy Pig, and in true Englishman abroad I had Ham Egg and Chips. Then off to the farewell cocktail party. 3 or 4 deep at the bar, so first one to the bar started a chain of passing beer to the back. Good job it closed at 2230, or we would have needed a longer lie in this morning. A few little pottering jobs to do today, Joe and Tom off shopping for last minute stuff, Richard and Allison of to the Skippers brief. The weather is looking at light winds for the next few days, with the Azores high, on holiday over the canaries, which is not good so it could be a slow start, the higher winds are to the south, so at the moment it looks like we will be taking the southern route. |
