We have had no sight of the sun since 1640 on the 28 Nov so have been running a DR plot based only on Compass course, and the EP from that date was a very poor guess as the sun run sun for that day gave a cocked hat of 50Miles a side. We should really have put in for leeway, and currents but we haven’t so perhaps the result would have been different. This mornings sight of the sun when we transfer the Dr to the position line we are out compared to the GPS by 2 miles. So it must be a fluke.

Once again we have sailed into the hole trying to get to some wind, and the decision is to stop and wait, which will mean that by the time we get to were the winds are, they will have moved again. We need to go at least 60Miles south to have a chance which will have to be a 10 hour engine run.
