A nice lie in. Skipper even made his crew a cup of
T in bed, but then he did have a long list of work for them, so decided to
sweeten the crew first. All the job's completed, and John has his ipod connected
to the now working radio, and is in the galley cooking up a curry. A bottle of
Red is already open, although I did catch the crew drinking beer earlier this
afternoon. the plan like last night was to go ashore for a beer, so fingers
crossed.
It has been a shorts and T shirt day, with a few
trips out into the town in search off all the usually things you go shopping
for, oil, car fuses etc.
Joe has had some bad news, he has to go back to
work on Monday, we have offered to drop him off in Whitehaven, but I think he
wants to stick with us just in case we get becalmed in the Irish sea and we
don't make it back in time, now you know why builders never turn up when you
want them.
John bump into an old friend ! Draham Exley, who
was on a sailing/climbing trip, and offered to take Ian climbing, but
unfortunately/luckily Ian had Hopco2's mast to climb instead.
We are planning to leave by 1000 tomorrow, so all
that is left to do is fill the water tank in the morning then cast off. 200miles
ish to Pwllheli, so hope we will be there some time on Saturday.
Skipper Splodge and Mack have found some
lifejackets, which they feel they may need, and have already started to wear
them.
