The Mayday is over, we didn’t get any more information other than the cargo vessel has given fuel to the yacht Sparrow, and she is heading for the cape Verde island.  So we can only hypothesise that yacht Sparrow may have lost her mast, and the need for fuel is so she can motor to the Cape Verde islands.

So a sleepless night for me, so a little lie in until, woken for a sail change. Joe is now on jankers in the galley, not only because it is his mother watch, but after getting back into bed and asleep after the mayday incident, only to be woken by Joe’s alarm clock, which he had left in my cabin, and it was set for the wrong time, so woke up and hour earlier than needed........bad Joe

Joe did his first sun run sun for the competition yesterday, and Alison is doing hers today, but she is pottering and not taking a sight, so the sun will be up and in the afternoon at this rate for her first sight. I think it will be a close run thing between Joe, and Tom, with Alison as the outside runner.
