38:25.5N 00:23.1W G: Today, on our way to La Campella, we saw a waterfall along the beach side, just a little after Altea and before Benidorm. It was a very deserted spot so we decided to anchor the boat for a bit and have a swim. First we swam to the shore to explore the coast and the waterfall. It was like in 'the bleu lagoon' so nice. The beach was divided into three parts, the waterfall, the beach and the 'bar'. The waterfall made a nice sound, and surprisingly the water was not cold. The water floated into a little mini-pool, and I could imagine Brooke Shields doing her laundry in the shallow waters while Christopher Atkins stared at the waters armed with a spear...  The beach was sandy at first, but going further onto the beach it became rockier. The view was spectacular... (was it because of the beautiful boat?).  The beach really looked deserted. I climbed up a rock to find a kind of 'cave' and found a very cosy place where apparently people got together a long time ago to drink some beers. It was a sheltered place with an outlook to the sea...   After an hour we had to move further... Have to be in La Campello to have the batteries replaced... |
