We made it! Safely to izola, Slovenia. Departed yesterday for villach in south Austria, assuming we would be speeding on der autobahn without trucks on Sunday. But lots of roads had maintenance going on, and it took 12 hours to get to villach, which btw is a nice old village :)
Stayed in a 15 th century hotel, and drove to izola this morning. Local cars in Slovenia have a sticker with 'SLO' on their car, and indeed, they drive very slow, or they should drive very slow, a bit dangerous here and there, but, at 11am we arrived in the marina in izola.
Here we met 'mike' and Peter and felix who took us on board, sailing and through lots of equipment, buttons, switches, manuals etc. Weather was too warm and no wind but ok for our first rendezvous with our moody.
Except for blue stuff in the fridge and the shower drain not working, all seems good!
Tomorrow at 0900 we continue with the 'instructors' next briefing, lots to learn still.
