We recently published an article in a Swedish Yachting magazine, from our Atlantic crossing, where I have published many articles before.

It´s our last yachting magazine still on paper in Sweden. The trend is the same in the rest of the world where Yachting World is the only magazine still found on major airports.

Customers obviously prefer "immidiate satisfaction" in which case YouTube is a better alternative. Advertisers go with the customers and paper magazines find it difficult to survive.

Some have gone bankrupt and others turned into the digital world to survive. It might be a sign of age but I still prefer to read a papermagazine. Already as a child I remember looking forward to Thursdays when the weekly Donald Duck was available in the kiosk. Bought for less than 10cents a holy hour followed reading Goofy, Mickey Mouse , and Donald Duck .

I will miss the magazines.
