In the Straights of Gibraltar

Fri 3 Aug 2018 10:16
So we left Gibraltar at 1100 local time as planned and are entering the straights of Gibraltar. Light Easterly wind but making 5 knots and hoping for a bit more wind this afternoon per the forecast. Routing West for 50 miles and then turning SW for Lanzarote to find best wind and ocean currents. Crew all happy and no arguments so far. Flat seas and calm sailing
Good run ashore in Gib. Apes tried to cause trouble at the top of the Rock. They had released the handbrake on a tourist minibus after opening the door and climbing in. Minibus made a large hole in the fence protecting the mountain road. Interpol still trying to identify the monkey
No dolphins so far
