After a tidy and clean up we headed inot Rome.

We went to the Vatican (Clive nearly did not get in as his shorts were on the edge of acceptable - back to the pin-stripe suits then?) The size and tranquility of the Vatican was very impressive (apart from for William who found it a bit scary)

We then walked in 26 degree temperatures to the Pantheon - this is an amasing building - the only Roman remains that still has roof and doors fuly intact. What they managed to build circa 1800-2000 years ago makes what we built in Saxon England look backward!

We the got a taxi back and had a pleasamt evening on the boat - Clives turn to cook as Vicks had a well deserved day off.
