Peter on the starting line. Now in the third day and all is well.
Lynn still smiling
This was Day 1 - thinks changed rapidly as they do.  Day 2 brought cloud, rain and stalking sailors as described below.  the resultant stalling meant that we had the engine on so as to make progress for 7 hour or so.  Today, Day 3 is yet a different story - blue skies calm, deep blue seas;  we are on "the other side of" a delicious lunch courtesy of M who is on MotherWatch today, and all is well with the world - particularly since Mrs Grumpy has caught up on her sleep - and is smiling once again! Mind you - starting your early shift being entertained by leaping dolphins has that effect.
We have wings this morning and a pod of dolphins gamboling in the sunrise!!
It's been a eventful night, squall as we were settling down to our night shifts, the ensuing wind shifts in strength and direction made sure that we kept awake. To add to the excitement, we were pursued by a sailing vessel which seemed intent to see the white of our eyes... despite giving him a wide berth, he kept coming to us, in the end we stalled the boat and let him pass. Obviously ocean not big enough. Weather is playing up, not much wind too far behind and far too much rain. Hopefully this should only be for a day or so before we pick up the westerlies.
