It's now Friday the 8th July and we have a big day of washing clothes and cleaning the boat as we are all off home tomorrow. I am leaving Christine here until the 18th July when I'll be joined by Sean for the sail onto Lagos.

We arrived here in Muros on Wednesday afternoon after a lovely day's sail down from Muxia which had started with the wind blowing fairly hard but ended with us motoring up the Ria de Muros in brilliant sunshine and no wind. We were met in the marina by the very friendly and efficient Pedro. Then a few minutes after tying up we had a visit from the Spanish customs and so had the laborious job of getting their forms completed. Then off to Pedro's office to get another set of forms completed covering all the same subjects. Despite all that everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Yesterday we ventured back out into the Ria for a day sail and a tryout of the parasailor in the light wind. After a very stressful couple of hours of hauling it up and down again, laying it out on deck to sort out the tangles and then finding twisted when it first opened out we did finally get it flying and working perfectly. With that we thought we had learnt enough and with the land approaching we hauled the snuffer down and dropped it all back under the forward bunk where it lives. Having had enough stress for one day we scurried back into the marina for lunch.

breakfast now and then on with the cleaning.  Peter, Skipper.
