We sailed down from La Graciosa to Arrecife yesterday (Tuesday) and today we have enjoyed a day in the town.  The marina is 20 minutes out from the town centre and although packed with cafès and restaurants it lacks the footfall to give it any 'excitement', so we chose to eat in town. (The marina is extremely new so hopefully it will improve with time.)

There is no shortage of Tourist Offices here but a limited choices of things to do. However, the town is nice enough, offering a change to see local Canarian life and not just tourists (and seafarers).  Since tomorrow is a holiday, Arrecife is in a festive mood - there was a concert along the inner harbour (El Charco san Ginés) close to where we enjoyed some lovely tapas.

Tomorrow Puerto Calero.
