Sorry for lack of blogs...all go here.
First day involved stocking boat merely for the basics, sorting paperwork etc. We were then in a position to tackle "the Programme" and basically the party started right there.  The marina has changed dramatically since we left it in early October and ARC boats have been arriving daily.  All shapes and sizes; absolutely brilliant.  Daily "sundowners" have ensured that we are meeting lots of lovely fellow ARC members and on top of that Christine now has her full crew complement with the arrival of Peter and his lovely wife Sandra, and as of yesterday, Gary joined us.
To celebrate we had dinner onboard and our pals from  Mr X joined us, admirably equipped with fizz AND pud..thanks guys.
Two fiestas have been attended...and today was the official opening ceremony with 31 nations participating in the 31st ARC Rally - it was superb and quite emotional.  We were followed around by a brilliant salsa band and then a national brass band.   It being a Sunday we were then given a day off to relax.  Dear Readers, we are partied out - for now!
yeah - right.

There's work to be done as well.

The guys have done a sterling job so far in planning the provisions;  massive shopping trips ensued and some very inspired packing and stowing.  I reckon Christine will be the "go to" boat if anyone else out there runs out of food.
So, enough from the non-crew...hopefully lots of photos will give you the flavour of what it is all like. Lynn x
