We have now been motoring for nearly 18 hours in a southerly or south easterly direction. Southerly to find some wind, south easterly so we are making some progress towards St Lucia. All a bit of whim and fancy really as the weather forecast is not helping. According to the grib files we should be having a very light south westerly while it is predominately south east. Too light to sail and swinging about a lot.

Today's lovely sunny weather was most welcome as it has allowed us to dry out but the engine has done the battery charging. Plenty of hot water for showers though so really life is very good and everyone is very cheerful. A decent wind from the east would be useful though. We might be happy to put up with the rain.
