We are now about 70 miles from the Spanish coast and are
heading for Vivero as it will be impossible to clear the corner of Spain to go
direct to La Coruna having spent most of the day close hauled. I had dreaded
beating all the way to Spain but at this rate that is pretty much what we will
have done.
It's all very quiet out here now, have seen very few
ships or boats on the AIS, and not much in the way of wildlife, just dolphins
which followed us very briefly.
I think we will all be glad to reach the shore which
should be middle of tomorrow. Living at twenty degrees can get a bit
wearing.
