As we head off the Bahamas bank and into the Gulf Stream off the coast of
Florida the wind is beginning to drop. The forecast is for light winds
today picking back up again tomorrow.

There was no chance to buy provisions at Cat Island so we are eating through
the last of our semi-fresh food and eying our stock of canned goods. Tuna
right out of the can isn't too bad... if you're hungry enough. One more
stew meal left and maybe a ham steak each. Could be just right.

We hooked up something yesterday afternoon. Whatever it was we couldn't
even turn it toward the boat and the line broke as we tried to adjust the
drag. There is a little more to this fishing stuff than meets the eye.

We're trying to get used to the new watch schedule with just the two of us.
Slept ok last night. But two three hour sleeps just doesn't feel right yet.
We are hoping for a bit of a boost from the current in the Gulf Stream. I
think I'll lay down again as soon as the generator is done charging the
batteries. All is well.
