Lost our wind last night around mid-night. Fired up the motor this morning
and have been motor sailing. Pretty uneventful... here and there we see
fishing boats and a pretty steady parade of large ships to our starboard
(right). The phosphorescence has returned as well as the starry skies at
night. Last night was a beauty. Everyone is starting to look and maps and
read guide books in anticipation of getting ashore again. Chris is looking
forward to climbing the rock of Gibraltar. I want to see some of the
monkeys that are supposed to be running around there. Talked to the marina
before we left Portugal and it looks like Gibraltar is a pretty popular
place for boats this time of year. Hope they have a slip for us. I got an
e-mail from Mary. Seems we managed to rack up about $225 in roaming charges
while in Bermuda. That will be the last time I use that cell phone on this
trip. Dah... I knew better.
