Hi everyone.   We are about 300 miles south and west of Bermuda.  We have managed to dodge most of the bad weather and are currently having more trouple finding wind than I had thought.  Just picked up today's weather and it looks like 5 kts of wind all the way to Thursday.  We'll just all have to start whistling.  Temperatures have cooled and it is really nice up on deck.  We usually have two of us on watch at night.  One guy pretty much sleeps while the other  checks for ship traffic and makes sure the sails are set properly.  Rehsus, the autopilot, has been doing a faultless job and checking the radar once every half hour or so makes sure nothing within 24 miles will surprise us including the occasional rain storm.

Expermientmented with a coulple of different sail combinations.  Had the genoa out on the wisker poll - not enough wind to make it go right.  Have the crusing spiniker up now that seems to be the ticket for this set of conditions.

We are down to eating our caned and dried foods for now as the refrigerator has been dead for a couple of days now.  Chef Phil says tonight's feast is rice beans musroom and kippers surprise!  Fruit cocktail for desert and could be served with your choice of vintage white wine.  The best part is  he can cook in 10 foot seas. He is slaving over the microwave right now.

George says he has discovered pains in places he never thought he had.

Chris is groving to his ipod hope he brought enough songs.   He tried to get through a Steven King series but turned out not to like it.

I have been keeping busy reading manuals on all this stuff that is supposed to work together to make this adventure safe and easy.

More to follow - have to get ready for the big card game tonight. We'll try to get some pictures out to spice up the copy next.
Wayno out'.
