Pipedream
Mon 25 May 2009 22:57
Hi all,  Pipedream finally left Jacksonville bound for Mayport breakwater many left over wave from there recent grails.  Probably should have waited a few more days in port for the winds to settle down but the crew was getting restless.  Chris reminded me that it would be hurricane season if we waited much longer.  We tacked north ali night to keep moving and    this am were about even with Hilton Head.  We tacked south this morning and have just entered the Gulf Stream.  Herb our weather router has advised us to stay south of 30N as a low is expedted tomorrow.

A are still a little woozy from the motion but we are improving with time.  George and I practiced taking sun sights at noon.  Chris is now at the helm and Phil who has been effect least by the motion made a big spagedtti dinner.  The refrigerator has stopped working again so we are eating up the fresh food as fast as possible.  We had guessed we would make Bermuda in 6 or 7 days... that is looking unrealistic with these winds'  Are we having fun yet?  I think so.
