We made another attempt to get across the Ionian sea to Sicily from Greece and decided to wait yet another day or two. 20 kts right out of the west on our nose. With a little over 300 miles to go we can't just over power it. We have alerted Michael that our crew rendezvous will be in Syracuse, Sicily and we will get there eventually. Looks like Wednesday AM might have a wind shift. We are hole up in an internet cafe looking at all the various weather sites more or less taking an average and looking for hope..

Time to kick back, have an ouzo and a Greek salad. Actually I think we will go back to the boat and have some of the stew I made for the crossing. Run the generator and maybe watch a move if it is not to rough. We left the marina for about an hour and our spot was gone when we came back. Pretty full so we are on the city wall now and it is exposed to a good chop... getting sea time tied up to the wall.

We watched a band concert last night in the town square... high school age folks, lots of fun. Dropped a load of laundry off this afternoon so we are making use of our time here. More later.
