Arrived at an anchorage on the south end of Limnos after a rousing sail today. Left Canakkale at day brake and got tangled up in the mooring lines on the way out. The wind came up as we were setting the main sail. 25 kts blowing us down the straights. With the 4 kt current we hit 10 kts over the ground at one point. The wind dropped a little as we approached Limnos. We even got to turn the engine off for most of the trip.

Katie has mastered the stew recipe and we had her stew tonight for dinner. We all got pretty roasted today with the sun and wind. Katie and Mary are slathering lotions on tonight. Mary took down the Turkish courtesy flag and hoisted the Greek one. I presented the Turkish flag to Katie and promoted here to mate.

Tomorrow we will cruise around to the official port of entry and get all our papers stamped and signed. We are having a crew meeting tonight to fill in the itinerary for the next couple of days.
