Tied side too in front of the ferry on the town jetty. We are about 25 miles south of Limnos at what we had hoped would be a decent anchorage to break up the trip to Skyros. Hey it turned out to be another one of those little gems along the way.

Had a pretty bumpy ride comming in here after several days of 25 kt winds the sea had a real confused chop. Had the wind dead astern or on the quarter most of the way so we were rolling as well. Had a chance to try out the cruising spinnaker and it worked great after carrying the thing around for two years.

Hiked to the top of the hill with the cemetery on it. Great view of the bay and the garbage dump cleverly disguised behind a hill. Went into the little town where we had heavy hors d'oeuvres and a few beers for dinner. Just like the Greek Islands restaurant in Chicago.... Greek salad, saginiki, fired zucchini, sedziki, wait this is a Greek Islands.

No riots out here. The guy at the taverna said there are only 200 people living on the island and in the summer about another 100 old folks come in. No cash machine but we were able to take on a little fuel from the tanker filling up the fishing boats. Up at 6 AM and trying to beat the ferry out of here.
