We motor sailed most of the day and pulled into Kemer which is located right at the entrance of the Dardanelles. We started to pick up some favorable current toward the end of the day. Katie made me a father's day dinner... grilled marinated chicken breasts, broccoli and rice. Hallmark has a long reach. We managed to finish off the last of my German chocolate birthday cake for desert.

This Kemer is a true fishing village. No restaurants, only a couple of tea houses. We got in about 4 PM and haven't got off the boat and probably will not. It seems most of the big fishing boats are permanent fixtures in the harbors. Someone explained since there aren't many fish left in this sea they only catch small fish which are not worth firing up the big boats for.

We should make Canakkale tomorrow the step off port to Troy.
