We got a good weather window to make it up the second part of the Dardanelles today. Very little wind and as we went north the current diminished. It was still a long day about 11 hours on the water.

Left at day brake as planned. The guy in the marina kept saying they were open 24/7. At 6 AM I woke the guy up. He was sleeping sitting up in a chair... there was no bed.

We cleared the entrance to the straights after navigating setting waypoint about every mile to take advantage of the deeper spots outside the current along the shore line and headed for Kemer our planned anchorage. We proceeded to get the old 25 kts of wind on the nose from out of no where. We were also getting a lot of chop. The sea of Marmara is like another big lake and you seem to get a pretty good chop quickly. Not much to say about this Kemer - a fishing marina, couple of industrial complexes on shore and not mush else. We are anchored just outside the marina... nothing to tie to in there except rocks. We plan an early AM departure and are trying to figure out where to go next.
