Beaufort is a pretty place with all the right stuff to be had. Lots of
walking to all the important shops. Slack though, taxi back as we could not
carry all the shopping to be had for our trip to the BVI. We have enough
food to feed a small army, well we do have Graham and Lucas aboard. All the
important stuff done, Gray has serviced cleaned and stowed all the stuff and
Lorraine has gone behind and stowed and tidied behind him, and of course Lucas
helped with it as well, or is that hindered?

Where we are parked in Taylor Creek is right next to a island with wild horses,
which graze along the river which is really lovely, as you can see from the
many photos I have taken, obviously not your showjumping kind of horse, but
really lovely to see. Lucas has to put up with the plastic kind at close
range - see photo.

Halloween tomorrow and all the houses are decorated beautifully, and for all
those who do not know it is Gray's 39th birthday, and yes I remembered for a
change (how can I forget his birthday being on halloween, clearly have time on my
hands).

We decided to head off tomorrow as wind is in the right direction for the
gulf stream, so away we go, here we come sun sea and sand. Gray says it
should take 10 days, I am already betting on 8 days. Hopefully a nice sail,
being this will be the longest distance the three of us have done alone, it
will be good practice for the Pacific crossings.

Next blog will be in the sunny Carribean, yes we are all looking forward to
it.
