Distance run: 10 nmiles

We motor-sailed the short trip from Denarau across Nadi Bay, past Vuda Point and around the corner to Saweni Bay.  We arrived mid-afternoon and dropped the anchor in a space behind ‘Sheer Tenacity’ and ‘Tuatara’ in the outer bay.  Even with the wavelets set up by the onshore breeze it was very calm and peaceful after the comings and goings of the Denarau anchorage with its fast cat ferries and trip boats going in and out from dawn to dusk.  It had the further advantage of being less than 5 nmiles from Lautoka where we would need to go to complete check-out formailities when we leave.  A few days here waiting for a weather window would do us nicely.
