After a VERY good
night's sleep in the shelter of the charter boat quay, everyone woke much
refreshed. Kerrie & Lee went off to do some last minute shopping and
we stayed on the boat to await the freezer man. By late morning he still
hadn't turned up - surprise! We weren't going to hang around and waste our
last morning, so we set off to the nearby taverna for a big brunch to keep the
kids going on their journey home.
Too soon it was time
to go to the airport to see them off. We had a lovely week with them, in
spite of the dramas, and it was very sad to see them leave. We waved them
off and went back to the boat which now seemed very empty and quiet.
Kerrie assured us the excitement of the last day or two had not put her off and
that they would be coming out to see us again. We hope it will be
soon.
