Farewell to a dear and special friend

On one of our brief
wifi connections we were given some very sad news via Facebook messaging. Terry
Noble, Steve's friend from school had passed away after a brave two year battle
against liver cancer. It was a complete shock as Terry had told very few people
not wanting to worry them. It was too late in the day to organise flights for
the funeral, so apologies were sent back to Elaine via Hayley and Facebook. We
let Thomas know and he bravely decided that he would go and represent the
family. We gather from Thomas that Tel was given a lovely send
off.
As we could not be
there, we held our own little "ceremony" at 1000 local time to coincide with the
UK time. We were on passage from Antigua to Barbuda at the time and had a
few moments of quiet to remember Terry. We then opened a small bottle of bubbly
to celebrate his life. The only thing missing was Steve (aka Rawlie) did not
have a cigar to puff on as they always did on such
occasions.
